‏قمة رباعية داخل قاعة الاجتماعات الكبرى بالمتحف المصري الكبير، تضم الملك توت عنخ آمون والملك أحمس الأول والملك تحتمس الثالث والملك رمسيس الثاني للتشاور فيما آلت إليه أحوال مصر هذه الأيام من انحدار أخلاقي وحضاري، وانهيار مكانتها العظمى في العالم، وتقزّم حكامها وتسولهم من كل من هبّ ودبّ.

A quadrilateral summit was convened in the Grand Conference Hall of the Great Egyptian Museum, gathering King Tutankhamun, King Ahmose I, King Thutmose III, and King Ramses II to deliberate on the moral and civilizational decay of modern Egypt — its fallen grandeur, its diminished rulers, now reduced to begging favor from any foreign passerby with a coin and a camera.

‏وقد أعرب الملك أحمس عن حزنه الشديد لانطفاء جذوة العزة والكرامة بين الأجيال الحالية وشعورهم بالعجز والإحباط.

King Ahmose I, the liberator of Egypt from the Hyksos, spoke first — his royal heart heavy with sorrow at the extinction of pride and dignity among his descendants, a generation weighed down by inherited helplessness and quiet despair.

‏وأبدى تحتمس الثالث دهشته من استكانة حكامها أمام الشراذم المجرمين الذين أقاموا لهم دولة على أملاك مصر الشمالية ويهددونها بلا رادع.

King Thutmose III, architect of Egypt’s golden empire, expressed astonishment at the submission of her present rulers before the criminal rabble who have planted a counterfeit flag upon Egypt’s northern lands, threatening her while her guardians stand paralyzed.

‏وأبدى رمسيس الثاني غضبه واستنكاره وذهوله الشديد من سطو الأحباش على مجرى نهر النيل تحت بصر حاكم البلاد وشعب مصر.

Ramses II, the warrior-pharaoh, thundered with fury and disbelief: “Do the sons of the Nile not see the Abyssinians diverting the sacred river — the very artery of our civilization — while Egypt’s ruler gazes on, and her people applaud?”

‏أما الملك توت عنخ آمون فقال: لقد أصبح هؤلاء الأحفاد يتاجرون بجثثنا ويعرضوننا أمام المتفرجين والمتطفلين من شتى الأصقاع لقاء دراهم زهيدة، ولا يحترمون حرمة للموت ولا لجلال مكانتنا.

Then spoke King Tutankhamun, the boy-king turned museum idol: “Our descendants now trade in our mummified remains, displaying us before gawking tourists and idle wanderers from every corner of the world for a handful of petty coins. They respect neither the sanctity of death nor the majesty of our eternal station.”

‏وفي نهاية الاجتماع دعا الملوك الأربعة إلى اجتماع موسّع لجميع ملوك الأسرات الفرعونية للتباحث ومواصلة الحوار لإيجاد وسيلة لإنقاذ مصر من الهاوية التي وقعت فيها.

At the close of the meeting, the four monarchs issued a joint decree calling for a Grand Convocation of all Pharaohs from every dynasty — to continue deliberations and seek a way to rescue Egypt from the abyss into which she has willingly descended.
